Years ago, we hoped to travel the 66 when we are 66. After studying the guides, youtubes and books, we wondered if the trip on a bike would be an adventure or a grind.
Our health is important to us and we both find our upper 60s are showing a continuous change in our abilities. GlennArt Farm has given us an adventure of 13 years of service to the neighborhood and God's purposes. At this time we feel the need to create a RESET of our lives. So by grace, we discovered that trains and biking could give us an adventure to bike, discover both externally and internally. So we have moved all the animals out except the cats, found house sitters and livestock keepers. We are taking a scheduled and unscheduled trip accross the western part of the United States of America.
We will be praying for our friends and familes as we go, and asking God to reset our spirits to His purposes in our 'retirement' from farming. We hope to visit with our son in Denver, some friends along the way and end up being with my Mom in southern California before Thanksgiving.
We will be sharing this blog, not with the public, but with our community. It is a work in progress and we do not really know how it will turn out. Stay tuned.
